President's Report

Dear Friends, 
As I reflect on the past year – my 11th as Juniata’s president – the theme that has emerged from our collective work is renewal. We are at a unique time when higher education is facing critical challenges that require us to renew our commitment to our mission and renew our thinking about the future.

In this annual report, we are proud to showcase the Juniata educational experience that empowers students to stretch their learning beyond what is comfortable and to explore life beyond what they know, and we are excited to share how we are taking strategic steps to strengthen the College for the years ahead.

During the spring semester, I took time to renew myself personally and professionally by studying other top liberal arts colleges to understand their success. Thank you to Provost Lauren Bowen for her wonderful leadership as acting president during the sabbatical. Looking forward to the next academic year, I am enthusiastic about our path ahead.
